Alexei Overchuk meets with Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev
Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexei Overchuk met with Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev on the sidelines of the 17th International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum” in Kazan.
The parties discussed the development of trade and economic cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan, paying particular attention to joint efforts to enhance transport connectivity through the development of the western route of the International North-South Transport Corridor. Alexei Overchuk and Shahin Mustafayev also reviewed the progress made in implementing the decisions of the 24th meeting of the Russian-Azerbaijani Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation.
The meeting was held in a constructive and friendly spirit, in keeping with the tradition of Russian-Azerbaijani dialogue.
