Alexei Overchuk has arrived in Azerbaijan on a working visit to take part in the 24th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Azerbaijan, scheduled for April 16.
The meeting will be co-chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexei Overchuk and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev. The parties are expected to review the implementation of the decisions adopted at the 23rd meeting of the commission, held in Astrakhan on 22 August 2025, as well as progress under the action plan for developing key areas of Russian-Azerbaijani cooperation. The meeting will also address a broad range of issues related to trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan, both in bilateral and multilateral formats.
