Applications for financial assistance can be filed online.
Russian citizens with children aged 3 to 16 will be eligible to receive a one-time payment of 10,000 roubles per child starting 1 June. The procedure has been approved by the Government.
One-time payments to families with children were announced by President Vladimir Putin during his address on 11 May. “The favourable macroeconomic conditions we have created in recent years for the progress of the economy, the rehabilitation of the banking and financial system in the country and the reserves we have accumulated allow us to take more decisions on supporting people,” the President stressed.
A submitted application is all that is necessary to receive the payment. It can be filed online via the public services website or personally at a Pension Fund office or at a public services centre.
The application will be reviewed for no more than five days and payments are to be made within three days. Applications may be submitted until 1 October.
All Russian families with children under 3 are eligible for another support measure: 5,000 roubles per child for April, May and June. To receive this, an application must be filed online at the public services website, in the personal account on the Pension Fund website, or at a Pension Fund office.
