Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov.
As a follow-up to the contacts held at the CIS Council of Heads of Government meeting in Ashgabat on May 22, Mikhail Mishustin and Ali Asadov discussed the relevant issues of Russian-Azerbaijani trade, economic, scientific, technological, cultural and humanitarian cooperation. Special attention was given to the major joint projects in industry, energy, transport infrastructure, digital economy and other areas.
Heads of government pointed out the importance of interaction between Russia and Azerbaijan in international and regional formats.
