The parties discussed potassium chloride supplies to key markets noting that the global production of potassium fertiliser stood at 68 million tonnes in 2023. Russia and Belarus are among industry leaders and account for about 35 percent of the total output.
“As a result, we fully meet the domestic needs and can export substantial amounts internationally,” Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev said.
