During the talks Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and Prime Minister of Finland Antti Rinne are expected to discuss the state and prospects of Russian-Finnish trade, economic, energy, industrial and humanitarian cooperation, progress in implementing joint investment projects as well as the issues of Russian-EU relations given Finland’s presidency in the Council of the European Union.
This will be the first meeting between Dmitry Medvedev and the new head of the Finnish Government which was formed this year in June following the parliamentary elections.
