Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak met with President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in Astana. The officials discussed Russia-Kazakhstan collaboration in the sphere of energy and also reviewed issues of enhancing bilateral trade and economic cooperation. Alexander Novak conveyed greetings from President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and noted the high level of dialogue and cooperation between our countries. The President of Kazakhstan emphasised the friendly, neighbourly and allied nature of interstate relations between Kazakhstan and Russia.
