As per President’s instructions, the Government has decided to extend and adjust export quotas for mineral fertilisers from Russia. They will be in effect from 1 December 2024 to 31 May 2025. A respective resolution has been signed to that effect. The decision aims to keep the necessary volume of fertilisers on the domestic market.
The total export quota volume will amount to about 19.2 million tonnes, including about 11.2 million tonnes for nitrogen fertilisers and almost 8 million tonnes for compound fertilisers.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade has been instructed to distribute the quota volumes among the foreign trade participants.
The quotas will not cover the supply of fertilisers to Abkhazia and South Ossetia, as well as exports from Russia carried out as part of international transit transportation.
The President has instructed
to provide for an extension of the current measure, if
necessary, following the 5 April 2022 meeting on the development of the agro-industrial and fishery complexes and related industries.
