“On behalf of the Russian Government and myself I express my deepest condolences in connection with the numerous victims of a series of terrorist acts in Sri Lanka.
This barbaric crime, committed on Catholic Easter, cannot be forgiven. We share the grief and pain of the friendly Sri Lankan people.
I ask you, Mr Prime Minister, to pass on my words of sympathy and compassion to the victims’ families and friends, and my wishes of a speedy recovery to all those wounded and injured.”
