Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev will attend the 11th ASEM Summit of Heads of State and Government (ASEM11) in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, on 15-16 July 2016. The 11th ASEM Summit will also mark 20 years since the launch of the Asia-Europe Meeting dialogue.
The heads of state and government will review the forum’s performance over the past 20 years, discuss the build-up of practical cooperation within ASEM, including with the aim of strengthening region-to-region ties, and also look at the prospects of improving this multilateral instrument. They will also exchange opinions on key issues on the international and regional agenda.
Following the summit, the leaders will adopt the Ulaanbaatar Declaration and statements by Mongolia as the country hosting the 11th ASEM Summit.
