On 21-22 November, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will attend the Tenth East Asia Summit (EAS) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The participating heads of state and government will discuss security and sustained economic growth in the Asia-Pacific region and consider the progress and prospects for cooperation in priority areas such as energy, finance, healthcare, emergency response, and interconnection.
Following the discussions, a statement by the summit chair, a Kuala Lumpur Declaration on the 10th EAS anniversary, and a number of documents on regional and international issues are to be approved.
Dmitry Medvedev will hold a number of bilateral meetings with delegation heads on the sidelines of the event.
On 23-24 November Dmitry Medvedev will visit the Kingdom of Cambodia. In Phnom Penh, he will hold talks with Prime Minister Hun Sen and will meet with King Norodom Sihamoni and speakers of both houses of the Cambodian parliament. Key issues of bilateral relations will be discussed with an emphasis on promoting trade, economic and investment cooperation and expanding interaction in education, culture and tourism. Intergovernmental and interagency documents on cooperation in various areas are scheduled to be signed.
