The agenda includes over 30 points, most of which are devoted to the development of trade and economic cooperation. Participants will share their opinions about the deepening of interaction in the financial, social, law enforcement and humanitarian spheres and review the implementation of the Free Trade Zone Agreement of 18 October 2011.
They should approve plans for the implementation of the third stage of the CIS Economic Development Strategy through 2020, as well as the subsequent stages of the implementation of the Youth Cooperation Strategy and the Fitness and Sport Development Culture Strategy of Commonwealth countries.
Participants are expected to approve an action plan devoted to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the CIS.
The meeting will also result in an agreement on the procedure for mutual settlements between operators in the provision of international telecommunication services in CIS member states, as well as amendments to certain international treaties previously adopted and decisions previously made in the CIS with a view to bringing them up to date.
