The meeting agenda includes over 30 issues covering all aspects of Russian-Belarusian relations; the two countries are connected by a strong history of alliance.
The parties plan to review the results of bilateral trade and economic cooperation over the first six months of 2015 and measures for further promotion and improvement.
Other issues include the development and implementation of the two countries’ common structural industrial policies, forming a common migration space, social programmes in the Union State, programmes for research and technology development, education and culture; and resolutions by the Union State governing bodies.
The previous meeting took place on 21 October 2014, in Minsk.
