During his visit, Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich explored the new Agrofirma Kama seed-producing plant and the Chelny-Broiler enterprise. The projects have been implemented by attracting funds under federal programmes. At a meeting with their management, Mr Dvorkovich said that their experience will be used in the future.
Mr Dvorkovich also visited the KAMAZ production platforms. He toured the main assembly conveyor, the cab assembly workshop, and the research and technical centre. He also explored the production area of the Russian-Italian joint venture CNH-Kamaz Industry, which manufactures both tractors and combine harvesters.
Mr Dvorkovich also visited the second platform of Kazan's IT-Park in Naberezniye Chelny, where he saw several projects planned for Student Games-2013 to be held in Kazan.
