Dear Mr Turchin,
On behalf of the Government of the Russian Federation and myself, I congratulate you on your appointment as Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus.
I am confident that under your leadership, the Belarusian Council of Ministers will achieve positive outcomes regarding such far-reaching goals as ensuring economic growth and improving living standards in Belarus. It is important to continue working together to expand Russian-Belarusian relations, promote our friendship, strengthen our strategic partnership and alliance, and enhance integration within the Union State.
I reaffirm my readiness for active cooperation between our two governments aimed at expanding cooperation in trade, the economy, investment, science, technology, culture and humanitarian sphere between Russia and Belarus, as well as implementing major joint projects in energy, industry, infrastructure and other areas.
I look forward to closer cooperation between Russia and Belarus as part of the Eurasian Economic Union, the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation and other multilateral formats.
