Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexei Overchuk held a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Development of Mongolia Chimed Khurelbaatar. They discussed in detail the implementation of joint Russian-Mongolian projects in different areas of economic and humanitarian cooperation.
The officials focused on the prospects for interaction in transport, logistics, energy and industry. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the recent dynamics in the dialogue between the Russian and Mongolian governments in all areas of comprehensive bilateral strategic partnership that is oriented towards future development.
They reviewed the progress in resolving many issues on the trade and economic agenda and discussed new projects for developing neighbourly partnership ties, including direct region to region cooperation.
