Excerpts from the transcript of the conversation:
Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj: Mr Medvedev, welcome to Mongolia. I’m very glad to see you here. You were my first high-profile guest after my election. At that time we agreed on many things, managed to accomplish a lot but we still have much to do, so let’s get down to work. Again, I’m happy to see you.

Dmitry Medvedev: Esteemed President Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj, indeed we held talks in 2009. Seven years have passed since then and many events have taken place. I’m glad to have this opportunity to visit Mongolia. I’d like to convey to you greetings from President Vladimir Putin. I’m confident that the ASEM forum will be held at the highest level. There will be many discussions of diverse issues that are vital for the development of both Europe and Asia. I must say that Mongolia is also making headway. I’ve just been on a tour of Ulan Bator. The city has certainly changed over these years, congratulations!
