UK Russia Energy Dialogue Communique
The Russian delegation was headed by Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich, while UK Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change Edward Davey headed the British delegation.
The parties discussed bilateral cooperation in the oil and gas sector, the nuclear industry, energy efficiency, renewable energy, and climate change mitigation. Mr Dvorkovich and Mr Davey also discussed cooperation between Russia and the UK in various international organisations, such as the G8, the G20, the International Energy Agency and the International Energy Forum.
The Russian delegation included representatives of federal departments, including Deputy Minister of Energy Kirill Molodtsov and Alexander Frolov, Head of the Russian Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring. Rosneft President Igor Sechin, Deputy Director General of the State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM Kirill Komarov and representatives of Gazprom also took part in the talks.
Following the talks, Mr Dvorkovich and Mr Davey signed a joint communiqué.
