In the village of Tyushevo in the Ryazan Region the Prime Minister inspected a new residential complex of private houses built under the Social Development of Countryside (until 2013) targeted programme. Dmitry Medvedev visited the house owned by the Kosarevs, a large family who work for the local Avangard animal breeding farm.
In the same village, Dmitry Medvedev visited a secondary general education school, where, among other things, he inspected the mathematics classroom and the computer centre. Year 10 students presented their Schools of the Future project to the Prime Minister. Dmitry Medvedev donated a voucher for a school bus to the school.
The Prime Minister also visited the local Avangard culture and sports complex.
In the neighbouring village of Khirino, Dmitry Medvedev inspected a local outpatient clinic and talked to the patients there. The chief physician told the Prime Minister that the local hospital catered to 2,500 people from six populated localities, whereas, prior to 2009, there was only a first aid and obstetric post there.
