Tomorrow, the Government will present its report to the State Duma. I will deliver a comprehensive report on our work throughout the past year, detailing the measures undertaken across all key areas, in response to the decisions and instructions issued by the President: demographics, support for families with children, road construction, landscaping, and the development of industry and medicine. Additionally, the report will focus on the assistance currently being provided to our defenders of the Fatherland, who are fulfilling their duty as part of the special military operation today.
In the previous two weeks, we held meetings with all five State Duma parliamentary parties. I had a meeting with State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin today; we had useful and constructive discussion. We greatly appreciate the questions raised by the deputies and will take their feedback into account in our further current and strategic documents. Today we will discuss these issues in detail.
I am aware that all Government members have actively engaged with State Duma bodies and defended our point of view in relevant committees. Tomorrow, it is important for us to provide comprehensive responses to their questions during the report and clarify details, if necessary.
Last year, the Government and Parliament accomplished a great deal together. It is important to maintain this spirit, which is in line with the country’s general strategic development goals. The most important ones of them are the development of our economy and the improvement of people’s wellbeing.
