Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko welcomed guests and organisers of the Talent Summit, a scientific and educational forum in Abu Dhabi.
In his address, the Deputy Prime Minister underscored the importance of Russia’s collaboration with the United Arab Emirates in science, education, and technology, highlighting the notable achievements of the Sirius Educational Centre.
“I extend gratitude to the summit’s organisers – the leadership of Sirius and the Ministry of Education of the United Arab Emirates, a nation that remains a reliable partner for Russia in scientific, educational, and technological cooperation.
It is gratifying that Sirius, established on the initiative of President Vladimir Putin, is sharing its expertise internationally. Over the past decade, the centre has trained 80,000 talented graduates across diverse disciplines. Annually, Sirius educational programmes engage over 5 million school and university students, and educators. More than 100 companies are now residents of its innovation science and technology centre.
Experienced Sirius engineers introduced summit attendees to ground-breaking Russian solutions, particularly in genetics and information technology. I am confident this forum will foster the development of youth talent in Russia and the UAE and play a pivotal role in strengthening the friendly ties between our nations. I wish you productive deliberations, meaningful encounters, and insightful discussions,” the message stated.
