Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak held talks with First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar. The parties discussed cooperation in oil, gas, and oil products, as well as nuclear energy and projects related to mineral production.
“Today, relations between Russia and Kazakhstan are developing dynamically. The two countries maintain long-term relations in energy and the political dialogue between the presidents of our countries makes headway as well. This year, we celebrate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Russia and Kazakhstan,” Alexander Novak said.
The officials focused on Russian gas supplies to Kazakhstan, oil transportation, oil product deliveries, and investment projects in Kazakhstan involving Russian businesses.
