Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin spoke by telephone with Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Roman Golovchenko.
The prime ministers discussed current issues of developing Russia-Belarus trade and economic cooperation in the face of the sanctions imposed by unfriendly states. They emphasised the need to build up cooperation in the energy sector, industry and transport infrastructure, paying special attention to implementing joint import substitution programmes, creating new production capacities and transitioning to the use of national currencies in mutual trade.
In addition, Mikhail Mishustin and Roman Golovchenko reviewed measures to deepen integration in the Union State and the Eurasian Economic Union.
