The telegram reads:
“On behalf of the Government of the Russian Federation and me personally, please accept my profound condolences over the numerous victims in the terrorist attack in Lahore.
This heinous crime claimed the lives of women and children and left hundreds wounded. I strongly condemn all barbaric terrorist attacks, for which there can be no justification. I believe in the need for active combined efforts to counter the terrorist and extremist threats.”
