On 17 February 2016, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev had a telephone conversation with Belarusian Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov. The call was initiated by the Belarusian side.
The two heads of government discussed current Russian-Belarusian trade and economic ties and the schedule for upcoming meetings, and exchanged views on the integration process within the Union State of Russia and Belarus and the Eurasian Economic Union.
