Resolution No. 2175 of 27 December 2025
In accordance with the Government resolution, the export quota for ferrous scrap and waste outside the Eurasian Economic Union has been set at 2.2 million tonnes for the period of 1 January to 31 December 2026.
This will allow domestic producers to export additional volumes of ferrous scrap and waste that is unclaimed on the domestic market.
Compared to the previous Government decision adopted in August 2025, the quota has been increased by 400,000 tonnes, to be distributed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade between foreign trade participants.
The export duty within the quota is 5 percent but not less than €15 per tonne, and the export duty in excess of the quota is 5 percent but not less than €290 per tonne.
