President’s Executive Orders No 560 of 6 August 2014 and No 320 of 24 June 2015
(hereinafter referred to as Resolution No 778), stipulates that a ban on the import
of agricultural products, raw materials and foodstuffs produced in Ukraine
shall be introduced on the date of entry into force of Clause 1 of Government
Resolution No 959, On Introducing Import Duties on Goods Produced in Ukraine of
19 September 2014, but not later than on 1 January 2016.
At the same time, the European Union and Ukraine have decided to implement on 1 January 2016 the economic chapter of the EU – Ukraine Association Agreement.
The signed resolution introduces amendments to Resolution No 778. The second paragraph of Clause 1 reads as follows: “The abovementioned ban applies to Ukraine starting 1 January 2016.”
