The meeting’s participants discussed the organising and running of seasonal field work in 2013. The Deputy Prime Minister ordered the Ministry of Agriculture to coordinate the events and make sure they are held on time.
The agenda also addressed the monitoring of the state of Russia’s food security and safety. Arkady Dvorkovich instructed the Ministry of Agriculture to continue such monitoring in accordance with Russia’s food security doctrine.
The Deputy Prime Minister also ordered the Ministry of Agriculture and the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision to continue checking against violations in safety requirements for imported food. If necessary, proposals should be submitted on introducing amendments to the Customs Union’s regulatory structure.
