A meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute was held on 21 December, in which Deputy Prime Minister in charge of state policy for innovation, Vladislav Surkov, was elected Chairman of MEPhI's Supervisory Board.
Members of the Supervisory Board also reviewed MEPhI's development programme until 2017.
The meeting was attended by MEPhI's Rector Nikolai Kudryavtsev, Chairman of Evraz Group Alexander Abramov, Vice President of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Andreyev, President of the National Research Centre Kurchatov Institute Yevgeny Velikhov, Chairman of nonprofit partnership Centre for High Technology KhimRar Andrei Ivashchenko, and other members of the supervisory board.
