The 13th meeting of the Italy-Russia Economic, Industrial and Financial Cooperation Council in Moscow was co-chaired by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich and Italian Foreign Minister Giulio Terzi di Sant’Agata.
“Italy is one of our priority economic partners,” Dvorkovich said in his opening remarks, adding that Russian-Italian trade and economic relations have demonstrated sustainable progress despite global economic difficulties. The Deputy Prime Minister said that the best outlook for their bilateral relations is in power generation, industrial cooperation, transport, communications, innovation and high technology, tourism and small and medium-sized business.”
Arkady Dvorkovich urged his Italian colleagues to focus on the possibility of investing in projects in Siberia and the Russian Far East.
Following the meeting, Arkady Dvorkovich and Giulio Terzi di Sant’Agata signed a joint communiqué and a final document.
