Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk held a working meeting with First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Daniyar Amangeldiev in Moscow.
The parties discussed a wide range of issues, with special attention to the development of bilateral trade and cooperation in fuel and energy.
“Russia and Kyrgyzstan are bound by strong partnership relations based on trust and mutual support. We see considerable potential for further growth of trade and the expansion of cooperation in the fuel and energy complex,” noted Alexei Overchuk.
The sides underscored that Russia is a key trade and economic partner of the Kyrgyz Republic, and their accumulated potential for interaction opens up new opportunities for carrying out joint projects.
Alexei Overchuk and Daniyar Amangeldiev reaffirmed readiness to continue enhancing their interaction aimed at the sustainable development of Russian-Kyrgyz economic cooperation.
