Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov.
The prime ministers reviewed the implementation progress of the agreements reached during the Russian-Kazakhstani intergovernmental talks on 25 March 2026 in Astana. Focus was placed on expanding trade, economic, scientific, and technical cooperation, as well as implementing major joint projects in industry, energy, transport infrastructure, and other sectors.
Mikhail Mishustin and Olzhas Bektenov noted the importance of promoting integration within the Eurasian Economic Union, the Commonwealth of Independent States, and other multilateral formats.
