Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk had a working meeting, via videoconference, with First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Daniyar Amangeldiev.
The parties discussed key issues of bilateral trade and economic cooperation. Both sides noted a steady positive dynamics in mutual trade and investment, as well as a considerable potential for further expanding Russian–Kyrgyz cooperation. Particular focus was placed on legislative initiatives currently under consideration in the Russian Federation.
“Russia and Kyrgyzstan are demonstrating stable cooperation across all key areas. Our objective is to ensure continued growth in trade, investment, and partnership for the benefit of our citizens,” Alexei Overchuk stated.
The discussion also addressed priority areas for joint work within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union. The importance of strengthening coordination between relevant government agencies of both countries was emphasised, along with the need to make more active use of EAEU mechanisms to advance joint initiatives aimed at the sustainable development of their national economies.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining a constructive and forward-looking dialogue across all areas of bilateral cooperation.
