Working meeting between Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Yuri Shuleiko
Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev had a working meeting with Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Yuri Shuleiko. The parties discussed the two countries' cooperation in the agro-industrial complex.
“The Republic of Belarus is our established closest ally and strategic partner. The leaders of both countries invariably maintain an intensive friendly dialogue. And the heads of government maintain regular contact,” said Dmitry Patrushev.
Tentatively, the two countries increased trade in the agricultural products by nearly a quarter in 2025.
At their meeting, the parties also discussed certain measures to maintain stability on the Union State’s market. For this purpose, in particular, the countries jointly approve projected balances of supply and demand for a number of agricultural products. The planned scope of deliveries is being met.
