Alexei Overchuk co-chaired a meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on economic cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia
The 24th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia was held in Yerevan co-chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexei Overchuk and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mher Grigoryan.
The commission co-chairs reviewed the outcomes of the work on implementing the decisions of the commission’s 23rd meeting of December 20, 2024. They also analysed the entire range of trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian relations between Russia and Armenia and outlined further steps to develop cooperation in the bilateral and multilateral formats.
The parties paid special attention to energy, industry, transport, agriculture, digitization, healthcare, culture, science, education and tourism.
Following their talks, Alexei Overchuk and Mher Grigoryan signed minutes of the 24th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia. A number of bilateral documents were also signed in the presence of the commission co-chairs.
