Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, hosted the official opening ceremony of the Phygital Games of the Future. The Russian delegation at the international multi-sport tournament was headed by Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova.
The competitions will be held on 18˗23 December and will feature 11 innovative disciplines, including Phygital Football, Phygital Basketball, Phygital Fighting, Phygital Shooters, Phygital Dance, Drone Racing and the Robot Battle. Russia is represented by 77 competitors from 13 teams, including those topping the World Phygital Community international ranking, as well as winners and prize recipients of Phygital Games. These include RFSO Lokomotiv in Phygital Football, the Moskovsky Basketball Club and the Liga Pro Team in Phygital Basketball, and Donstu Esports in Phygital Shooters.
