President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Denis Manturov. During the meeting they discussed key areas of multifaceted bilateral cooperation and the prospects for developing cooperation ties.
The President of Kazakhstan emphasised active and coordinated work of the governments of both countries, whereby Russia invariably remains a leading trade and economic partner of Kazakhstan. He also noted that Russia was a leader in terms of the rate and amount of investments in Kazakhstan’s economy.
In turn, Denis Manturov expressed his appreciation of the warm reception and reaffirmed the readiness of the Russian side to further strengthen bilateral interaction across the entire range of areas. He emphasised that a firm foundation for implementing joint projects had already been created.
The President of Kazakhstan awarded Denis Manturov with the Order of Dostyk (Friendship), 1st class, for his significant contribution to socio-economic and cultural development, as well as to promoting friendship and cooperation between the peoples of the two countries.
