Mikhail Mishustn: Achieving the national development goals set for 2030 will require GosTech to deliver around 100 large-scale, socially significant services. Some of these are already supported by existing information systems, and by the end of this year, 14 more will be introduced.
Mikhail Mishustin’s opening remarks:
Good afternoon, colleagues.
Today we will take a closer look at the development of the unified digital platform GosTech. A number of federal and regional information systems are already in operation. This large-scale initiative relies on ready-made, proven software components that are adapted to specific tasks and objectives.
Such an approach delivers substantial savings in both budget and time. It enables government agencies and Russian regions to rapidly launch new services designed for citizens and businesses, ensure efficient data exchange, and implement the necessary support measures.
The modern software products presented on the platform as well as the information and technological infrastructure let it be a point of distributing AI instruments in the social sphere and administration. And, what is especially important, all solutions are based on domestic software products only. It excludes dependence on foreign technologies and enhances security
The unified platform already integrates 52 federal and regional systems, with another 30 services currently in development or pilot testing. These tools are designed, among other purposes, to support the effective work of government agencies. They also streamline interactions between citizens and public institutions while enhancing the quality of services delivered to people.
New services are also being introduced in healthcare and education. For students and their parents, the Ministry of Education has launched the widely used My School mobile app. The platform provides up-to-date information on class schedules, homework, and academic performance. Parents can conveniently manage a unified schedule for their children, including clubs, extracurriculars, and other activities, while students gain access to a library of digital learning materials.
Several projects are also underway in Russia’s regions, where pilot services are being tested in areas such as social protection, construction, housing supervision, and more.
This work must be further expanded to ensure that all regions can access the best standard solutions through a single digital platform and implement them without incurring additional costs.
To achieve the national development goals set by the President, GosTech must deliver around 100 large-scale, socially significant services by 2030. Some of these are already supported by existing information systems, and by the end of this year, 14 more will be introduced.
It is essential to actively expand the platform’s functionality, strengthen its reliability, and accelerate the rollout of new services so that interaction with the government becomes as simple and convenient as possible for citizens.
Today, we will examine these issues in detail,
outline the measures needed to further improve the platform, and review
concrete examples.
