First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Denis Manturov met with Vice Premier of the People's Republic of China Ding Xuexiang, who is heading Chinese delegation at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum.
As a reminder, Denis Manturov and Ding Xuexiang are co-chairmen of the Intergovernmental Russian-Chinese Commission on Investment Cooperation.
They discussed priority joint projects, which are the focus of the intergovernmental commission. The parties underscored their readiness to give comprehensive support to new advantageous initiatives and substantially consider them at the next commission meeting scheduled for the second half of 2025.
The current list of meaningful Russian-Chinese investment projects includes 63 initiatives amounting in total to more than $130 billion. In general, the commission has 86 projects in industry, agriculture, transport, infrastructure, digital technology and e-trade totalling $200 billion.
As it was announced earlier, President of Russia Vladimir Putin will meet with Vice Premier of the PRC Ding Xuexiang in St Petersburg on Friday.
