The current state and development prospects of the two countries’ trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian cooperation were discussed.
Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk met with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Bui Thanh Son in Moscow, where they discussed the current state and development prospects of trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian cooperation between Russia and Vietnam. Representatives of the two countries’ relevant ministries and departments took part in the event.
During the intergovernmental talks, the parties had an in-depth discussion of the progress in the implementation of joint projects in energy and transport, industry and agriculture, culture, science and education, tourism and other areas, where the countries are working together within the framework of the strategic partnership between Russia and Vietnam.
The parties reaffirmed their commitment to consistently implement the agreements reached by the leadership of the Russian Federation and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam during an intensive and trust-based dialogue at the high and highest levels.
