Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich took part in a ceremony to inaugurate an agriculture and food fair in Amsterdam, which was part of the Netherlands-Russia cultural exchange year.
During the event, Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister held talks with Dutch Minister of Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation Lilianne Ploumen to discuss bilateral cooperation between the two countries, including the Russia-Netherlands Joint Commission. The assistance from Dutch companies involved in land reclamation and major hydraulic engineering projects in the aftermath of the flooding in Russia’s Far East was discussed during these meetings, Arkady Dvorkovich said. The meetings also touched on the promotion of Russian products in European markets and drawing Dutch investors and farmers into Russia’s agricultural industry.
