Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has approved the appointment of curators for several ongoing federal projects that form part of the national projects, as well as federal projects implementing Russia’s socioeconomic development initiatives. The decision is aimed at ensuring the effective work of the new Cabinet as it carries out the President’s instructions and works towards achieving the national development goals.
Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of the Government Staff Dmitry Grigorenko has been assigned responsibility for the federal projects Regulatory Framework for the Digital Environment, Information Infrastructure, Workforce for the Digital Economy, Information Security, Digital Technologies, Digital Public Administration, Artificial Intelligence, Development of Human Capital in the IT Sector, and Ensuring Internet Access through the Development of Satellite Communications. All of these projects are part of the national programme Digital Economy of the Russian Federation.
Dmitry Grigorenko will also oversee the federal projects Access to the Internet, Digital Citizen Profile, Online Public Services, Electronic Document Management, and Training for the IT Sector, which deliver socioeconomic development initiatives under the Digital Transformation priority.
Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Savelyev will curate the federal projects Infrastructure Development, Safety Assurance and the Creation of a Specialised Certification System for Unmanned Aerial Systems, Workforce for Unmanned Aerial Systems, Advanced Technologies for Unmanned Aerial Systems, Stimulating Demand for Domestic Unmanned Aerial Systems, and Development, Standardisation and Mass Production of UAS and Components. These projects are part of the Unmanned Aerial Systems national project.
Vitaly Savelyev has also been assigned responsibility for the federal projects Development of Seaports, Development of the Northern Sea Route, Development of Regional Airports, Development of High-Speed Railways, Development of Railway Infrastructure of the Eastern Operating Domain, Development of Railway Access to Seaports in the Sea of Azov–Black Sea Basin, and Development of Railway Access to Seaports in the Northwestern Basin. These projects are included in the national project Transport Component of the Comprehensive Plan for the Modernisation and Expansion of Trunk Infrastructure up to 2024.
In addition, Vitaly Savelyev will oversee the federal projects Year-Round Northern Sea Route, Unmanned Logistics Corridors, and Autonomous Navigation, which were established under the Technological Breakthrough socio-economic development initiative.
Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin will continue to curate the federal projects Construction of the Europe–Western China International Transport Corridor and Development of Railway Infrastructure of the Central Transport Hub, which also form part of the national project Transport Component of the Comprehensive Plan for the Modernisation and Expansion of Trunk Infrastructure up to 2024.
Marat Khusnullin will additionally oversee the federal project Re-Engineering of Industrial Construction Regulations, developed under the Construction socio-economic development initiative.
Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko will supervise the federal project Professional Education, which delivers the socio-economic development initiative of the same name under the Social Sphere priority.
Curators for the remaining federal projects will be appointed as soon as coordinated proposals are prepared by the Government Staff.
