The Deputy Prime Minister was received by Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and also held a working meeting with Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan.
Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk visited Yerevan, Republic of Armenia. During his visit, Mr Overchuk was received by Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.
The talks emphasised a rich agenda and the successful development of bilateral cooperation. The parties’ work towards implementing Paragraph 9 of the tripartite statement dated 9–10 November 2020 was noted in the context of the activities of the tripartite Working Group under the joint chairmanship of the Deputy Prime Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation. Issues related to the restoration of railway connections, the implementation of border and customs controls based on the sovereignty and jurisdiction of the parties were considered.
Alexei Overchuk also met with Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan. The parties discussed topical issues of bilateral relations as part of the Russian-Armenian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation as well as the development of cooperation within the Eurasian Economic Union.
