Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk takes part in the Eurasian Economic Commission Board meeting via videoconference
The meeting attendees discussed the current plans for the further development of Eurasian economic integration: foreign e-trade in goods, use of navigation seals for monitoring shipments, and implementation of the project on digital technical regulation.
They adopted an overall plan for reaching the strategic goals of Eurasian economic integration by 2025. It contains specific measures on implementing the strategy with deadlines.
The participants endorsed a draft decision by the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council (EIC) on the main areas of industrial cooperation in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) to 2025 and a draft protocol on introducing amendments to the EAEU Treaty of 29 May 2014.
They also tentatively approved a draft agenda for a Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting.
