The parties discussed topical matters of Russian-Kazakhstani production and technological cooperation.
Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk had a working meeting with Roman Sklyar, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
They discussed topical matters devoted to expanding Russian-Kazakhstani partnership in the field of production and technological cooperation with the focus on collaboration in the sphere of transport, agricultural engineering, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
Mr Overchuk and Mr Sklyar reviewed various aspects of building a transport corridor between Europe and western China in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan. They agreed to assess this project and expand the transport corridor’s capacity as well as to facilitate working contacts between specialised agencies.
While discussing the possibility of establishing more joint ventures in the republic, the Kazakhstani party noted the need to train its citizens in the Russian Federation.
