The Government has reported on the implementation of Presidential Instruction No. Pr-541 of March 17, 2013 (Clause 1, Subclause D) on re-locating the Schneerson Library, which is currently being kept at the Russian State Library, to the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Centre.
The Government reports that a specialised department of the Russian State Library will be established at the Centre to oversee the handling and maintenance of books. Work on providing premises for the department at the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Centre is nearing completion.
