Positive developments are taking place in the military-industrial sector, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Military-Industrial Commission Dmitry Rogozin said upon opening the meeting. According to Mr Rogozin, the personnel drain from the sector has practically stopped; almost one third of employees are under 35 years of age. Nevertheless personnel problems persist. The main problem has to do with ageing and retiring experts, and the gap between generations of highly skilled workers, engineers, technologists and constructors. Promising young specialists will not seek jobs in the sector without good wages and hopes of receiving housing, he said. The entire policy on the development of the military-industrial complex depends on this.
