Dmitry Medvedev will hold talks with Slovenian Prime Minister Miroslav Cerar and discuss pressing issues concerning cooperation in trade, economy, science and technology, culture, humanitarian relations and other areas. The visit schedule includes meetings with President Borut Pahor and National Assembly Speaker Milan Brglez.
On 26 July, Mr Medvedev will attend a ceremony near the Russian chapel at Vrsic Pass to commemorate Russian POWs who died there during the First World War.
A number of bilateral documents are expected to be signed during the visit.
