Dmitry Medvedev’s message reads, in part:
“Over the past few years, much has been accomplished in order to strengthen the traditionally friendly Russian-Belarusian relations and to consolidate the Union State. I am confident that the experience of joint productive work inside the Customs Union and the Common Economic Space will ensure a successful transition to the Eurasian Economic Union, a new form of integration cooperation. This completely meets the fundamental interests of the peoples of our countries.”
