1987: Graduated from Andrei Zhdanov Leningrad State University.
1987–1989: Intern and investigator at the Kalininsky District Prosecutor’s Office in Leningrad. Later held several officer posts at security agencies.
1992–1994: Executive Director at Interyuraudit de Faria and T.
1994–2001: Member of the St Petersburg International Bar Association (lawyer of the first legal aid office at its Moscow branch).
2001–2008: Head of the Legal Department and Board Member at Gazprom Public Joint Stock Company.
2008–2018: Aide to the President of the Russian Federation, Chief of the Presidential Control Directorate.
2018 to January 2020: Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation and Chief of the Government Staff.
21 January 2020: Appointed Minister of Justice by Presidential Executive Order.
